About Susie:
I love movies, mystery novels, and good coffee. I am the eldest of seven siblings (hence, bossy and opinionated).
I am a European-American. I currently manage a movie theater. I am working on my MSM.
I am old enough to know better, but still young enough not to care. I think Liberals are stupid.
Any questions?

Musings on the perniciousness of inertia: Inertia is bad. Inertia prevents one from initiating tasks that are necessary in modern society, like laundry. I have no clean clothes to wear to work, yet I cannot command the self-discipline to gather the darks and head to the washer. Instead I will probably plunge deep into the stygian depths of the closet on a mission to extract a vaguely-matching ensemble circa 1992. ( I have clothes dating back to the Carter administration.....). No doubt this fashion safari will cost me more effort and energy than just doing the damn laundry would, yet inertia overrides logic. Procrastination has no discernable rewards, yet it is a behavior I not only embrace but have perfected. My brother recommends drinking more water and smoking less. I wonder if it will work.

Gosh, it's hard to be creative every day! How do other bloggers do it? This is only my second day, and I am having trouble already. I haven't seen any movies lately (which is rather ironic, considering that I work at a movie theater), and nothing I've read recently demands comment. I am very inert lately. Maybe I'll have something more post-worthy when I get home from work tonight.

I love Frank. Frank, I did not vote for the monkey.

Did I ask for your opinion? That's what I want to say to all those whiny hollywood types who feel the big chill from making anti-war statements. Since when does Joe Cabdriver go on Charlie Rose to spout his political opinions? Just because I think Janeane Garofalo was hysterical in Romy and Michele's High School Reunion does not mean her opinion on anything matters to me, and I fail to understand why she thinks it should. Of course, if all these talk shows stop letting celebrities blather on about their politics, and make them stick to promoting their movies or albums or whatever, that would be censorship, right? Just like it's censorship because Diane Sawyer has not interviewed Rachel Lucas...

Ah, the elixir of life....yes, I am referring to that most delightful of beverages, coffee. I fail to understand how civilization operated smoothly prior to the invention (discovery?) of coffee.
9:32 AM
Well, I now have my own blog......what to do with all this power? Write excrutiatingly bad poetry? Whine about my job? Rant about politics?
Ok, all of the above.
